Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms had a bit of a makeshift style and could use some upgrading, giving a tree-house-like feeling. Despite being poorly equipped with no clock radio, iron, or board, insufficient bath soap, and no wifi, they were simple but clean and comfortable. The service was amazing and very attentive, with really nice and helpful staff, although not very efficient at times. The location wasn't very walkable to the main center but was beautiful, convenient, and perfect for relaxation, especially with soft piano music. The dining experience seemed a little expensive at $9 per plate but charmingly homely, much like what my grandma would make. Facilities were sufficient but nothing exceptional.
My stay at La Jamaca was pleasant overall. The beach-themed rooms were a bit plain and small, but the helpful and welcoming staff made up for it. The location had its charms, yet noise could be an issue. The dining experience was delightful, with fresh and delicious options, but not being near the beach was a downside.
My stay at the hotel was a delight. The rooms were small but comfortable, and I loved the small balcony with a partial ocean view. Everything was really clean and beautiful. The service was amazing, with incredibly polite and helpful staff. The unique surroundings outside, with hammocks to enjoy, added an extra touch of comfort. The location was great for exploring the town and nearby attractions, although it could get a bit noisy at times. The dining experience was good, but a little on the expensive side for what was offered.
